Mullins- Alice Rabon Hutchinson, 90, died peacefully on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. She was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late George and Sarah Doyle Rabon. Alice lived in Florence for many years before moving to Mullins. While living in Florence, she was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and also very active in the lives of her children. Upon returning to Mullins, Alice became a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Stith Sunday School Class and the McCormick-Perritt Circle. Alice was known for her delightful sense of humor and caring and loving spirit. Mrs. Hutchinson was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Hutchinson and two sisters, Elnita Waller and Leila Godwin. She is survived by one son, Randy Hutchinson and his wife, Connie of Little Rock, Arkansas and one daughter, Melba Thomas, and her husband, Jimmy of Marion; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Macedonia United Methodist Church in Mullins.
