Angela Jackson Shelley, 57, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence with the family that she dearly loved by her side. She was born in Marion County on July 25, 1960, a daughter of Austin Jackson and Lois Milligan Jackson.

Angela spent thirty-seven years in the banking industry serving the customers that she loved as a Financial Service Representative at First Citizens Bank. She remained dedicated in her work and in her will to fight her illness, putting her family and customers before herself with never a complaint. Growing up on a farm, Angela learned to love horses and horseback riding. It was her family though that brought her the most joy, especially her three B's-Brittany, Brian, and Bree. It was her grace, her love and her beautiful smile that won, not cancer.

Angela was predeceased by two sisters, Gloria Jackson Bell and Pamela Jackson Owens.

She is survived by her parents, Austin Jackson and Lois Milligan Jackson; her daughter and best friend, Brittany Nicole Shelley; a sister, Phyllis Jackson (Roland) Luff all of Mullins; three nephews, Brian (Angela) Wallace of Mullins, Justin (Ashleigh) Altman of Camden and Derek (Brie) Bell of Columbia; and her precious niece, Bree Wallace

The family will greet friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018 in the Fellowship Hall of Mullins First Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 4:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of the church with burial at Devotion Gardens. Angela is in the care of Meares Funeral Home of Mullins.
