Audrey Idell Stroud, 79, of Nichols passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at her home. She was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Lanneau and Annie McCrackin Collins. Mrs. Stroud was predeceased by her husband, Thomas L. Stroud and a daughter, Donna Stroud. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Eugene Stroud of Florida and Larry L. Stroud (Sheila) of Nichols; three daughters, Marilyn Martin (Larry) of Marion, Pat Stroud of Nichols, and Opal Pearl Stroud (Jim) of Nichols; a brother, William Collins (Blanche) of Conway; a sister, Annie Bell Hodges of Virginia Beach, Virginia; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Nichols directed by Meares Funeral Home of Mullins.
