Mullins- Betty McDonald Anderson, 81, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Mullins Nursing Center. She was born in Florence, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Claude Thomas and Jerome Peck McDonald. Betty was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church and the Lois Neal Circle. She dearly loved her family and playing bridge with her friends. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her beloved husband, Bert Neal. Survivors include her sons, Neal Anderson and his wife, Joyce of Hemingway, Tommy Anderson and his wife Cindy of Mullins, and David Anderson and his wife, Pam of Mullins; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Cedardale Cemetery directed by Meares Funeral Home of Mullins. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
