Beverly Capers Jones, 95, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at his home in Nichols. He was born in Dillon County, the son of the late Paul Capers and Betty Paul Jones. Beverly was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing.

Beverly was predeceased in addition to his parents, by his wife, Christine Baker Jones, a daughter, Janice Jones Savage, a brother, Tommy W. Jones, and two sisters, Aline Mobley and Lois Rast.

He is survived by two sons, Richard (Nancy) Jones of Charleston and Danny Jones of Johns Island, and one grandson, Kevin Paul Dixon.

A service to celebrate a life well-lived will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Nichols United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
