Bryan
Barnhill
Aug 16, 1988 — Aug 18, 2021
Nichols
"Blessed is the one who remains steadfast under trial, for when that person has stood the test, they will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him." James 1:12 On Wednesday afternoon, Bryan received his crown.
Daniel Bryan Barnhill, 33, of Nichols found eternal peace in the arms of his waiting Savior on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. He passed away at his home surrounded by his family, just as he had wanted. Bryan was born in Marion, South Carolina on August 16, 1988, the son of Danny and Lora Anne Barnhill.
Bryan was a graduate of Green Sea Floyds High School, where he excelled as the catcher on the baseball team. Following graduation, he gave back to his community and continued his love of baseball by serving as an umpire with the Green Sea Floyds Recreation Department. He also loved his Clemson Tigers and was an active member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. An avid outdoorsman, Bryan loved nothing better than to be with his friends, and most of the time they could be found hunting, fishing, or riding four wheelers. Much of his time was spent at Causey's Hunting Club, where he was also an active member. We can find peace in knowing that he now resides with the Master of the Hunt.
Bryan was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, D.C. and Betty Barnhill, his maternal grandfather, Maxwell L. Stephens, and a cousin, Kacie Stephens.
He is survived by his loving parents, Danny and Lora Anne Stephens Barnhill; a sister, Logan F. Barnhill; his maternal grandmother, Betty F. Stephens; special uncles, Fenton Stephens (Frankie), all of Nichols and Larry Barnhill (Patricia) of Darlington; special aunts, Vonnie Collins (Clayton) of Nichols, Faye Barnhill of Marion, and Amy Stroud of Aynor; numerous special cousins and friends, and his canine companion, Tuck.
