Obituary

Randy Bud Nobles, 64, of Mullins passed away peacefully holding his daughter's hands on Monday, December 20, 2021 at MUSC Marion Medical Center. He was surrounded by his loving family as he left his earthly home. He was born in Marion County on October 31, 1957, the son of Joe and Fannie Lee "Sissy" Nobles.

Bud loved music and playing the guitar was one of his favorite pastimes. He enjoyed working on tractors and cars and spent much of his adult life working as a mechanic.  Bud was a wonderful father to his children.  A good all-around person, he loved to tell jokes and make others smile. The last few months he showed what a fighter he was as his health began to decline. He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Bud was predeceased by a brother, Billy Nobles, a sister, Kathy "Flossie" Nobles, and a granddaughter, Faith Nobles.

He is survived by his parents, Joe and Sissy Nobles of Lake View; his beloved wife of forty-five years, Eva Gray Nobles of Mullins; two sons, Chad Nobles of Mullins and Hank Nobles (Lacie Tharp) of Little River; two daughters, Jessica Lucy Nobles of Mullins and Celena Nobles of Lake View; a special friend who was like a son, Balmore "Rocky" Mendoza; a brother, Danny Nobles (Brenda) of Lake View; nine grandchildren, Halie, Layla, Dylan (Brianna), Channler, Lucas, Kennadi, Raylee Nobles, and Matthew Anderson; three great-grandchildren, Peyton, Madison, and Carson Nobles; and Tammy King who was like a daughter to him.

The service for Bud will be for the immediate family only.

Bud is in the care of Meares Funeral Home of Mullins.
