David Alan Altman, 68, of Mullins passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 at his home following a period of declining health. He was born in Mullins, the son of the late W.E. "Gene" Altman and the late Margie Brown Altman. David loved cats and vintage motorcycles, but his greatest love was for his Lord. He spent many years living in Florida and working as an electronic engineer at the Gulfstream Marina. In his spare time, he would work on antique British bikes.

David is survived by two brothers, Gene Altman and Ken Altman, both of Marion, and a sister, Brenda (Truett) Rogers of Fork.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Cedardale Cemetery in Mullins. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
