Mullins- Franklin Dean Gasque, 68, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Carolina Hospital Systems in Florence. Dean was born May 23, 1944, a son of the late Bennett Broxton and Belle Richardson Gasque. He resided in the Gapway Community of Mullins and was a member of Gapway Baptist Church and the Mens Bible Class. Dean was preceded in death by two brothers, Reginald Allen Gasque and Bennett Charles Gasque. Dean is survived by a twin brother, Gene (Diane) Gasque and a younger brother, Luther Dale (Beverly) Gasque, both of Mullins; a niece, Anna Gasque (Brian) Johnson, two nephews; Bill (Gail) Gasque and Luke Gasque; two great-nieces and two great-nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Gapway Baptist Church in Mullins. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service in the sanctuary of the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
