Obituary

Dean Arthur Kinville, 54, of Florence passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 at McLeod Regional Medical Center.  He was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on April 15, 1966, the son of the late Donald Kinville and Dolores Lefebvre Boyer.

Dean loved sports and found enjoyment in coaching youth of all ages.  Throughout the years, he was well known for working with autistic children. He and his wife Susan served as house parents at the Kurn Hattin Homes residential school in Vermont for at risk children.  Dean was an all-around stand up person who left an impression on everyone he met. He loved the outdoors and especially found deep pleasure in fishing of any kind. A hard working man, he carried himself with confidence and was known for his infectious smile. His word was his bond and he was known for his trustworthiness. Dean loved his family and his devotion and love were without question.  He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy.

In addition to his parents, Dean was predeceased by a daughter, Samantha Jean Kinville.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Kinville of Mullins; a son, Joseph Kinville of Mullins; three daughters, Ashley Dennis (Eli McCormick) of Mullins, Reine Richburg (Jairod Shoemaker) of Vermont, and Amy Lane (Michael) of Columbia, SC; brothers, Shawn Kinville of New York and Mark Kinville of Connecticut; a sister, Denise Naeck of New Hampshire, and five grandchildren, Kyle, Skylar, Megan, Liam, and Patrick.
