Nichols- Donnie Lee Johnson, 55, of Nichols passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 at his home. He was born in Marion County, a son of the late Charlie and Edith Mae Bass Johnson. Donnie is survived by one son, Shawn Ross Johnson of Nichols; one daughter, Jessica Le Johnson of Conway; one brother, Charlie Johnson, Jr. of Easley, S.C.; two sisters, Myrtle Benton of Green Sea and Cheryl Ann Hernandez of Okeechobee, Florida, and one grandchild, Jace Matthew Austin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 6, 2014 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. Burial will be private.
