Obituary

Elizabeth Strickland Grainger, 85, of Nichols passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on Thursday, April 15, 2021. She was born in Horry County on February 28, 1936, the daughter of the late Joe Robert Strickland and the late Naomi Roberts Strickland.

Elizabeth was a Christian woman full of selfless love and devotion for her faith, family, friends, and clients. Elizabeth loved her Lord and Savior, her church and her church family at Spring Branch Baptist Church, where she was a member. She enjoyed working with flowers and making her yard a place of beauty. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her girls and their families.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leslie Howard Grainger.
