Nichols- Ezzie Mae Cook, 83, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. She was born in Robeson County, N.C., a daughter of the late Edgar and Maybelle Hayes. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Lee Cook and one grandchild. Surviving Mrs. Cook are two sons, Robert Bunny Cook and his wife Sandra of Mullins, and Kenneth Wade Rooster Cook of Nichols; one daughter, Linda Cook Stroud of Nichols; three grandchildren, Cynthia (Bob) Heil, Tara C. Rogers, and Linda Kaye (Larry) Thompson, and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2011 at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols.
