Nichols- Fleetwood Elliott, 85, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Marion Regional Hospital. She was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Rembert and Leitha Strickland Jackson. Mrs. Elliott was predeceased by her husband, Matthew James Elliott. She is survived by one son, Maxie Elliott and his wife, Connie of Nichols; two grandchildren, Anthony Elliott and his wife, Phyllis and Kimberly D. Stetson and her husband, Robert, and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 19, 2011 at the chapel of Meares Funeral Home in Mullins with burial to follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Nichols.
