Florence G. Fowler, 77, of Beltsville, Maryland, passed away peacefully at White Oak Medical Center in Silver Spring, Maryland surrounded by her family. She was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on June 19, 1946, the daughter of the late John and Virginia Gibson.

She always showed love and compassion for others, always going the extra mile to help someone in need. She worked for many years for Chaselle School Supply and Costco.

Florence was the oldest of five girls, Sylvia, Rita, Pam, and Donna. She was married for over 41 years to Seymour Fowler, and they have a daughter, Jennifer and five grandchildren, Tiffany, Tyler, Kaitlyn, William, and Zoe.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
