Galivants Ferry- Gertrude Perritt, 91, of Galivants Ferry, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 17, 2014. She was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Lyde and Janie Rabon Huggins. Mrs. Perritt was predeceased in addition to her parents, by her husband, Cyrus Perritt. She is survived by her daughter, Frances (Angus) Hucks of West Columbia; a brother, Tom (Jerry) Huggins of Columbia; two sisters, Esther Edwards of Galivants Ferry and Evelyn Ray of West Columbia; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 20, 2014 in the fellowship hall of Rehobeth United Methodist Church in Galivants Ferry. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
