Mullins- Gregory Leigh Buffkin, 59, of Mullins passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at McLeod Health in Loris. He was born in Horry County, a son of the late Winston Buffkin and Shelby Strickland Buffkin. Greg is survived by his mother, Rosemary Buffkin of Mullins; two sons, Ben Leigh Buffkin and his fiancé, Kelly of Blythewood, S.C. and Joshua Leigh Buffkin of Ridgeway, S.C.; a daughter, Chelsey (Josh) Gasque of Mullins; two brothers, Ricky Dale Buffkin of Mullins and Johnny Dupree George Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters, Gayle Godbold Pitts of Camden, and Carla (Joe) Owens of Mullins; and four grandchildren, Marlayna Keran, Joshua Worth, Michael Relma, and Magen Marie Buffkin. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 24, 2014, at Buffkin Cemetery in the Spring Branch Community of Nichols.
