Harvey Cook, 85, died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. He was born in Horry County, a son of the late Henry Tillman and Maggie Tyler Cook. Mr. Cook was predeceased by his wife, Carrie Hammond Cook. He is survived by a son, Sandy Cook of Nichols and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, June 30 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 1, 2012 in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols.
