Ida Gayle Moore, 83, of Florence and formerly of Nichols, passed away peacefully at Faith Healthcare Center in Florence. She was born in Marion County, the daughter of the late William Julian Jones, Jr. and the late Augusta Tanner Jones.

In addition to her parents, Ida was predeceased by her brother, Bill Jones.

She is survived by two sons, Herbert Victor Carmichael, III and Randy Carmichael and his wife, Shannon; a grandson, Casey Lee Carmichael, and a sister, Bertie Lee McKenzie.
