Jeanette Jones Wallace, 78, of Mullins, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Carolinas Hospital System following a period of declining health. She was born in Marion County on September 30, 1939, the daughter of the late Ernest and Nina Brown Jones. Jeanette was a member of Mullins First Baptist Church and the Fidelis Sunday School Class. She was a woman with a quiet and humble nature and she dearly loved her dog, Emmy.

Jeanette was predeceased, in addition to her parents, by her beloved husband, Frank Wallace and her daughter, Elizabeth.

She is survived by one son, Louis Edward Wallace of North Carolina; a brother, Frank (Joann) Jones of Mullins; a sister, Judy Williams of Florence, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2018 at Mayers Cemetery in Mullins. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service and at other times at the home of Frank and Joann Jones. Jeanette is in the care of Meares Funeral Home of Mullins.
