Thomasville, NC-

Jo Dean Sarvis Causey, 65, of Thomasville, North Carolinapassed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Avante Nursing Center. She was born in Mullins, the daughter of the late Dock Benjamin and Madge Jones Sarvis.

Mrs. Causey was predeceased in addition to her parents, by her husband, Gene Autry Causey, four brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by two stepsons, Terry (Beverly) Causey of Mullins and Radgie Dale (Candi) Causey of Thomasville, NC; a brother, Michael "Buddy" (Debbie) Sarvis of Thomasville and a sister, Betty Fowler of Tabor City, NC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 7, 2016 in the chapel of Meares Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lake Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery in Loris.
