Towson, MD Juanita Mincey, 98, of Towson, MD and formerly of Nichols, SC passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Blakehurst Life Care Community. She was born in Nichols, a daughter of the late Willis Elias and Deliah Ward Lambert. Mrs. Mincey was predeceased by her husband, Lacey Mincey, a son, Robert Mincey, a granddaughter, Katie Price, two sisters, Wilma Monte and Mary Willis Moody, and a brother, Ward Lambert. She is survived by three daughters, Samantha Marilyn Price of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Linda (Bill) West of Towson, Maryland, and Ann Peisel of Savannah, Georgia; three granddaughters, Jenny (Andrew) Layton, Jamie (Jonah) Ansell, and Cassie Peisel; three grandsons, Ledger (Kristen) West, Blake West, and Ryan Peisel; and two great-grandchildren, Liam and Carter West. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 4:00 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 4:30 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols. Memorials may be made to Cedar Creek Baptist Church, 9375 Black Creek Rd., Nichols, S.C. 29581.
