Larry L. Elliott, 79, of Nichols passed away peacefully at McLeod Health Loris following a period of declining health. He was born in Horry County on June 16, 1943, the son of the late Paul Elliott and the late Estelle Rushing Elliott.

Larry loved the land and spent much of his life farming. When he wasn't farming, he could often be found hunting or fishing. He was one of the original members of Causey Hunting Club, where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Larry loved his family and making memories with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A man of great faith, he always looked forward to attending church at Grace Baptist Church of Horry County. One of his favorite pastimes was going for a ride in his truck and you can be assured that there was going to be an ice cream stop along the way.

In addition to his parents, Larry was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sara Ann Killingsworth Elliott and a son, Kenneth Robert Elliott.

He is survived by two sons, Larry "Skeeter" Elliott (Estelle) and Keith Elliott (Jane) both of Nichols; a daughter, Kimberly Ann Caines (Guy Neil) of Loris; nine grandchildren, Jessica Nicole Richardson (Alex), Matthew Scott Elliott (Denise), Allison Blair Elliott, Caitlin Hope Elliott, Morgan Elizabeth Diedrich (Parker), Emily Brooke Nobles (Holden), Keith Robert Elliott II, Guy Neil Caines II, and Courtney Ann Caines; two step-grandchildren, Bradly Allen and Joseph Brent Allen; twelve great-grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Beatrice Killingsworth; one sister, and a brother.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday September 17, 2022 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins and at other times at Keith's home, 6511 Three Bend Road in Nichols. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Grace Baptist Church of Horry County in Loris with entombment to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made in his memory to Grace Baptist Church of Horry County, 1040 Justice Loop, Loris, South Carolina 29569.
