Laura McDaniels Baker, 77, of Conway passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Conway Manor.  She was born in Mullins, South Carolina on December 11, 1942, the daughter of the late Cromer McDaniels and Rosalyn Russ McDaniels.  Laura enjoyed the simple things in life and will be greatly missed by those who knew her best.

In addition to her parents, Laura was predeceased by her husband, Tony Baker, a daughter, Julette Williams; her brother, Bobby McDaniels and a sister, Mary Graham.

She is survived by two brothers, John McDaniels of Columbia and Bill McDaniels (Suzanne Pucci) of Elgin and a special niece, Sherri Long of Conway.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in the chapel of Meares Funeral Home of Mullins.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.  The family will lay Laura to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols.  We respectfully request that you wear a mask and practice social distancing while in the funeral home.
