Lee Shooter, 32, of Nichols, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at his home. He was born in Marion, the son of Ronald L. Shooter, Sr. and the late Pamela Bellamy Shooter. Lee was a 2002 graduate of Mullins High School and had attended both West Virginia University and Francis Marion University where he was active with the Chi Phi Fraternity. Lee loved politics and sports of all kinds and was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. A young man with a kind heart, he was a friend to many people.

Lee was predeceased by his mother, Pamela Bellamy Shooter.

Surviving Lee is his father, Ronald L. Shooter, Sr.; a sister, Mary Ellen Shooter; and his grandmother, Helen S. Shooter, all of Nichols.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 20, 2015 in the chapel of Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
