Nichols- L. Christine Jackson, 82, died Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Conway Manor. She was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Daniel Rembert and Leatha Strickland Jackson. Mrs. Jackson was a dedicated employee of Anvil Knitwear for thirty-four years. Survivors include a daughter, Christy Hooks of Loris; one granddaughter, Carlie Alexis Turner, and several nieces and nephews that she dearly loved. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Nichols. An online guest book is available at mearesfh.com.
