Linda Gail Cook Stroud, 70, of Nichols, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Faith Healthcare Center. She was born in Marion County on December 17, 1950, the daughter of the late Robert Lee Cook and the late Ezzie Mae Hayes Cook.

Linda enjoyed dogs, birds, flowers, baking, "country comfort" food and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her brothers, Robert "Bunny" Cook, Kenneth "Rooster" Cook and her grandson, Evan Dale Stroud.

She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Stroud Heil (Bob) of Augusta, Georgia and Linda Kaye Stroud Thompson of Mullins, South Carolina and two grandchildren, Andrew Heil and Susan Heil.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
