Louis Randolph Rogers, 39, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Nichols on Sunday, December 14, 2025. He was born in Whiteville, North Carolina on February 5, 1986, the son of Louis Douglas "Doug" Rogers and Nan Elvington Rogers.

Louis graduated from Oak Ridge Military Academy in Oak Ridge, North Carolina. Following his graduation, he attended Clemson University, and that was the beginning of his love for anything Clemson. He was an avid fan of Clemson athletics and could often be found watching his Tigers play whatever season of sports it was. Later, Louis joined the United States Army, where he proudly served his country including a tour in Iraq. Louis was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

Louis was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Louis Philip Rogers and Gladys Townsend Rogers and his maternal grandparents, Dr. Randy Elvington and Mary Lois Webb Elvington.

He is survived by his loving parents, Doug and Nan Elvington Rogers and many dear uncles, aunts, and cousins.

The family will lay Louis to rest in a private family committal service.
