Louvaine Floyd, 80, of Nichols passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Conway Manor. She was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Ed and Ada Strickland Floyd. Mrs. Floyd is survived by a daughter-in-law, Lynn Floyd of Nichols; a brother, Ed (Sarah) Floyd of Thomasville, N.C.; a sister, Hannah Skipper of Loris; three grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins.
