Britt
Apr 13, 1970 — Mar 27, 2024
Latta
Roberta Lynn Britt, 53, of Latta, wife of Blake Britt, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at McLeod Hospice House. She was born in Loris, South Carolina on April 13, 1970, the daughter of Roberta Lewis Daniels and the late John Edward Todd, Sr.
Lynn was a graduate of Green Sea Floyds High School in the Class of 1988. Following her high school graduation, she attended Florence-Darlington Technical College and earned a degree in Business Management. Through the years, she had worked in both Human Resources and Accounting.
Lynn attended Bethany Baptist Church in Loris. She valued her faith and family, and those two things are what allowed her to remain strong during her recent health issues. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and nothing delighted her more than to see them come for a visit. Lynn enjoyed crafting and being outdoors working in her yard. She also enjoyed watching football games with her family and could always be found supporting her Pittsburgh Steelers.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Blake Britt of Latta; her mother and stepfather, Roberta Lewis Daniels and James "Jimmy" Preston Daniels, Jr. of Nichols; her children, Christopher Gregory Britt of Hinesville, Georgia, Brandon Andrew Rowell of Nichols, and Courtney Elizabeth Jackson of Southport, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Sophia Jackson, Edward Jackson, Caitlynn Rowell, Ryleigh Rowell, and Walter Causey; a brother, John Edward Todd, II and his wife, Stacy of Nichols, and a sister, Laura Celeste Hooks and her husband, Randy of Mullins.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. A graveside service will follow the visitation beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols with Reverend Robert Lewis officiating.
