Thomasville, Georgia- Margaret Grantham Small, 92, of Thomasville, Georgia passed away October 7, 2012 at Plantation Manor. She was born in Lake View, South Carolina on July 27, 1920, a daughter of the late Bishop and Pope Lewis Grantham. Mrs. Small was a retired RN from Higgins General Hospital in Breman, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Small; two brothers, Bobby and Gary Grantham, and two sisters, Evelyn Proctor and Carolyn Utley. Mrs. Small is survived by a daughter, Patty Waters and her husband, Dargin of Pavo, Georgia; a son Andy Small and his wife, Kim of Oveido, Florida; grandchildren, Robert and Shannan Small Carver of Winter Springs, Florida, Ryan and Lindsay Small Corbett of Auburndale, Florida, Christie Sumner of Thomasville, Georgia, Blake Sumner of Thomasville, Georgia; and great-grandchildren, Benjamin Carver and Cori Carver of Winter Springs, Florida, and Owen Corbett of Auburndale, Florida. The family received friends on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Allen and Allen Funeral Home in Thomasville, Georgia. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Lake View Cemetery in Lake View, South Carolina directed by Meares Funeral Home of Mullins.
