Michael Bryan Stroud, 57, of Nichols, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. He was born on January 21, 1960, the son of the late Lacy and Estas Goff Stroud. A caring person, Michael was devoted to his wife, Pam, his family and friends, and his church, Cedar Creek Baptist Church where he was a lifelong member. He was a farmer who loved his job and loved doing for others.

Michael was predeceased in addition to his parents, by two brothers, Roger and Russell Stroud.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Pam M. Stroud of Nichols; a daughter, Lauren S. (Max) Doherty of Mullins; a sister, Karen Stroud; two grandchildren, Mason and Ace Doherty; a devoted nephew, Rhett Stroud, and two special cousins, Bryan and Doug Stroud.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9 ^th in the chapel of Meares Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Red Hill Memorial Gardens.
