Nancy G. Bane, 66, of Nichols passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Marion County on July 24, 1951, the daughter of the late Orton Earl Grainger and Dorothy Floyd Grainger. Nancy spent over twenty-five years as an office manager and traffic clerk with the Marion County Magistrate's Office. She loved her family and horses. She was a lifelong member of Nichols Baptist Church.

Nancy was predeceased in addition to her parents, by a sister, Cheri Goldstein and her daughter-in-law, Amy Bane.

She is survived by her beloved husband of forty-seven years, Gerald "Jerry" Bane of Nichols, two sons, Maury Bane of Aynor and Jason (Becky) Bane of North Myrtle Beach; three grandchildren, Wesley, Ean, and Ivy Bane.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 31, 2017 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in the chapel of Meares Funeral Home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols.
