Nichols- Odessa M. Adams, 86, died Monday, July 30, 2012 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. She was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Earl and Bessie Alford Martin. Mrs. Adams was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Jefferson Adams and three brothers, Roy Martin, A.D. Martin, and Junior Martin. She is survived by three sisters, Mary Cecil Sarvis of Florence, Vernell Turner of Loris, and Rosa Bratcher of Conway; five sisters-in-law, Irene Martin, Eunice Martin, Lacey Shelley, Earlease Heath, and Peggy Williamson, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial at Red Hill Memorial Gardens.
