Patricia Floyd Coleman, 71, of Nichols passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022 following an extended illness. She was greeted in heaven by her beloved Lord and Savior and her beloved husband, Landis. She was born in Horry County on July 10, 1951, the daughter of the late Ernest Floyd and the late Lucille Bullock Floyd.

Patricia was a woman of great faith who loved her church and her church family at Wildwood Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing in the church and fellowshipping with others. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was happiest when she could spend time with them.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Landis Coleman, two brothers, Donald Floyd and Ronald Floyd, and two sisters, Ernestine Huggins and Beatrice Lewis.

She is survived by two daughters, Regina C. Brown (Ray) of Nichols and Ammie C. Boyette of Nichols; a brother, Billy Earl Floyd of Mullins; four grandchildren, Landis Dana Brown (Faith), Kristan Blake Williams (Seth), Austin Chase Ford (Logan), and Gordon Daniel Ford (Taylor) and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2022 in the sanctuary of Wildwood Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the sanctuary with Reverend Billy Baker and Reverend Dana Brown officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
