Patricia Faye Jackson Hooks, 68, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at her home after a period of declining health. She was born in Marion County, the daughter of the late Dudley Pete and Margaret Phillips Jackson. Patricia was a retired nurse, having worked at both the Mullins Hospital and Loris Hospital.
Patricia was predeceased in addition to her parents, by an infant son, Rhette.
She is survived by her beloved son, John (Tammy) Hooks of Green Sea; two grandchildren, Halee and Kenley;John's father, Jack Hooks of Winston-Salem, N.C.; two special aunts, Joanne Lancaster and Anne Blanton, and a special friend, Sarah Cribbs who helped care forPatricia during her illness.
A service of celebration for the life of Patricia will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 20, 2015 in the chapel of Meares Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
