Pauline Rogers Hardwick, 73, of Mullins passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at McLeod Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Mullins, the daughter of the late Stafford and Edna Harper Rogers.
A woman of strong faith, Pauline was a member of Mullins First Baptist Church and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. She was a kind and giving person and her humbleness was evident as she gave from her heart and not for her glory. Pauline loved animals, working with flowers, and was well-known for her coconut cake. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, and aunt.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was predeceased by a sister, Catherine R. Brown.
She is survived by a daughter, Dawn Hardwick of Mullins; her son, Chris (Shannon) Hardwick of Centenary; two grandchildren, Taylor and Triston Hardwick; a sister, Sylvia Carmichael of Mullins; a brother-in-law, Dean Brown of Burgaw, NC; a special aunt, Evelyn Huggins of Marion, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2016 at Mullins First Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Kirkland and Reverend Chad Ivester officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the sanctuary of the church. Burial will be at Watson Cemetery in Zion directed by Meares Funeral Home.
If you would like to remember Pauline, the family suggests that memorials be made in her memory to the Beacon Soup Ministry of Mullins First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 443, Mullins, South Carolina 29574.
