Green Sea- Dudley Pete Jackson, 87, died Monday, April 11, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Horry County, a son of the late Rembert and Cherite Strickland Jackson. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. Mr. Jackson was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Phillips Jackson. He is survived by one daughter, Patricia Jackson Hooks of Green Sea; two sisters, Fleetwood Elliott of Nichols and Christine Jackson of Loris; two grandchildren, John and Tammy Hooks, and one very special little girl, Halee Owens, PaPas girl. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. An online guest book is available at mearesfh.com.
