Divide, Colorado-

Stephen Godbold "Pete" Miles IV, 61, of Divide, Colorado and formerly of Marion, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 30, 2015. He was born in Marion County, the son of the late Stephen Godbold Miles III and Betty Brown Miles. Pete was a Biomedical Electronics Technician with Catholic Health Initiatives in Colorado Springs. He loved the outdoors, hiking, camping, dirt bike riding, photography, and was an avid rifleman.
Pete was predeceased in addition to his father, by his paternal grandparents, Stephen and Nell Miles II, and his maternal grandparents, Talmadge and Louise Anderson.
He is survived by his wife, Cleesie Berry Miles of Divide; his children, Charles Stephen Miles and Mary Hannah Miles, both of Divide; his mother, Betty Brown Miles of Marion; a sister, Jane Miles (Stewart) Snowden of Mullins; his mother-in-law, Mary Ellen Berry of Sunset Beach, NC; a brother-in-law, Clint (Alicia) Berry of Ash, NC; nephews, Conor Berry and Brandon Clewis, and a niece, Courtney Clewis, all of Ash, NC.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 7, 2015 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.
