Philip Johnathan Finnell, 53, of Marion left his loving family on Tuesday, September 1, 2020.  He was born in Westfield, Massachusetts on March 18, 1967, the son of Francis Finnell and Hilda Lietzau Finnell.

Philip was a gentle giant with a heart to match. A very spiritual person, it was evident by his service to Jehovah and others on a daily basis. He was energized by hard work and gave the best of himself to his family, his congregation, and his job.  He will be greatly missed by those who knew him best.

He is survived by his parents of Marion; his beloved wife, Tiffany of Marion; two sons, Nicholas Wheeler (Jessica) of Marion and Baylan Finnell of Florence; two daughters, Shivon Finnell of Marion and Angelika Finnell of Augusta, Georgia; brothers, David Finnell of Marion and Paul Finnell (Sheila) of Darlington; a sister, Deborah Holmes (Al) of Marion; five grandchildren, Justin, Elijah, Ashton, Lon, and Raylyn and Dianna Jones, biological mother of Shivon, Angelika, and Baylan.

A memorial service to celebrate a life well lived will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 12, 2020 via Zoom.
