Nichols- Randy Carl Sawyer, 57, died Saturday, February 16, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Marion County, a son of the late Carl and Wonice Baker Sawyer. Randy is survived by two sons, Phillip and Derrick Sawyer of Mullins, three daughters, Heather Sawyer and Jessica Sawyer, both of Nichols and Kimberly Sawyer of Little River; two step-brothers, Donald Ray Turner and Robert Turner, both of Nichols, and Wanda Thompkins of Nichols; and ten grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 18, 2013 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Florence National Cemetery in Florence. A message of condolence for the family may be left at mearesfh.com.
