Nichols- Carlton Ray Elliott, 60, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Marion Regional Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Marion County, a son of the late Robert Vance Elliott and Martha Lou Hilbourn Elliott. He is survived by his mother, Martha Lou Hilbourn Elliott; his wife, Olivia Rogers Elliott; two sons, Jamie Ray (Crystal) Elliott and Clay G. Britt; two brothers, Randolph Elliott and Gene Elliott; three sisters, Pansy Lawson, Cheryl Shepherd, and Cindy Barnhill; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday September 23, 2011 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Elliott Cemetery in Nichols S.C. A message of condolence for the family may be left at mearesfh.com.
