Rebecca Collier Tipton, 60, of Marion, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, South Carolina.

Rebecca was born on May 27, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Earl Wayne Collier and the late Phyllis Ann Callihan Collier.

Rebecca was a loving wife and mother who cherished her family dearly. She and her husband, Jerry Blaine Tipton, shared 15 years of marriage together. Rebecca was a devoted wife and a good mother who found great joy in caring for those she loved.

She worked in home health care in Johnson City, Tennessee, where her caring nature and compassion for others were an important part of her life. Rebecca attended McMillan Baptist Church in Marion and Bethel Baptist Church, in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Rebecca and Jerry enjoyed traveling together, especially their trips to Myrtle Beach. These times together created many special memories that Jerry will always cherish.

In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by one brother.

Rebecca is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Blaine Tipton of Marion, South Carolina; her sister, Teri Collier of Elizabethton, Tennessee; her two sons, and best friends Mark and Michelle Harrelson; along with other extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Funeral services for Rebecca will be held at a later date in Elizabethton, Tennessee.
