Richard Fulton "Richie" Harrelson, 53, of Mullins passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at MUSC Health in Florence. He was born in Florence on December 20, 1967, the son of the late Richard E. Harrelson and Faye Capps Harrelson.

Richie was one of the friendliest people you would ever meet and had a heart of gold. He spent many years doing yardwork and washing cars until his health no longer allowed him to do so.  He enjoyed spending time at the river and boating. Cooking, eating, and watching television were also favorite pastimes of his.

Richie was predeceased by his father, Richard E. Harrelson.

He is survived by his beloved mother and best friend, Faye Capps Harrelson of Mullins; a brother, Louis Harrelson and his wife, Sheila of Marion, and two nieces, Sidney and Emma Louis Harrelson.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 21, 2021 at Devotion Gardens in Mullins with Reverend Robbie Baxley officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
