Obituary

Ronald Graham, 63, of Dillon, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2024 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Born August 4, 1961, in Norfolk, Virginia, he was the son of the late Larry and Barbara Norris Graham.

Ron enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served his country for 13 years. He later continued to serve his fellow man and began a 20-year law enforcement career, where he worked at the Dillon County Detention Center, Lake View Police Department and retired from the Dillon Police Department having proudly served the citizens of Dillon County. Ron never met a stranger and cherished the many relationships he created over the years while protecting and serving his community.  Ron could often be found before his shift having a meal at the Waffle House or meeting up with the guys at a local convenience store for a cup of coffee.

Ron also had a love for Ford trucks, he recently purchased a Ford F-150. He and his wife, Dianna would make weekly trips to the farmers market to purchase fruits and vegetables and deliver them.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Dianna Sarvis Graham, two brothers, Larry Graham, Jr. and Floyd Graham, two sisters, Ginny Hatchell and Vickie Blackwell, aunt, Linda Graham Turner, stepmother, Donna Jackson Graham, a host of nieces and nephews, special friends, Donnie and Bubba Grimsley and his faithful canine companion, Sam. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Arnette Graham.
