Mullins-

Ronald A. Rogers, 60, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born in Marion County, a son of the late Harry E. Rogers and Josephine C. Rogers. Ronald was a devoted husband to his wife, Esther for thirty-six years and a loving father to Wes and Kerry. He enjoyed working whether it was at his job at Rock-Tenn for the past thirty-three years, in the kitchen, or in his garden.

He was predeceased in addition to his father, by a nephew, Jamie Rogers, a niece, Krystal McMillan, his father-in-law, Tommy White, and a sister-in-law, Beth Bell.

Ronald is survived by his mother, Jo C. Rogers; his wife, Esther White Rogers; a son, Wesley (Megan) Rogers; a daughter, Kerry (Weston) Altman; a brother, James Rogers all of Mullins; three grandchildren, Taryn, Bryce, and Noah, and two step-grandchildren, Skyler and Taygan.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Cedardale Cemetery in Mullins. The family will receive friends at the home following the service.
