Ruby Faye
Watts
Sep 28, 2023 — Oct 24, 2023
Myrtle Beach
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:13-14
Just 26 days after coming into this world, Ruby Faye Watts passed away peacefully in her parents' arms at their home in Myrtle Beach. She now rests in the arms of the angels. In her short amount of time, she touched many lives and many hearts. Ruby Faye experienced grasping a finger with her parents and siblings, hugs and kisses from her family, listening as her parents sang to her, and being told "I love you" more times than one could count. God knows his very plans, and now they give her back into His hands to take care of as only He can.
Ruby Faye was greeted in heaven by her paternal grandparents, Ted Watts and Christie Rhodes Watts and an aunt, Lea Hunt.
She is survived by her loving parents, Christopher Watts and Hollis Strickland Watts of Myrtle Beach; her sister and brother, Wrenlea Brae Watts and Gadsden Rhodes Watts; grandparents, Hollis Wrenn Strickland and his wife, Wanda Faye Strickland; an aunt, Patience Strickland Housand (Sherwin) all of Nichols; uncles, Dow Watts (Jesse) of Loris and Trey Watts (Cathy) of Florence.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the outdoor chapel of Pirateland Family Camping Resort in Myrtle Beach with Chaplain Marty Williams officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
