Sandra-Natalia Montes
Bran
Aug 16, 2006 — May 22, 2024
Mullins
"When you lose someone you love, you gain an angel you know."
Sandra-Natalia Montes Bran, 17, of Mullins passed away peacefully at McLeod Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Marion, South Carolina on August 16, 2006, the oldest daughter of Andres and Suzanna Bran who were blessed to have spent 17 years with Sandra here on earth.
Sandra attended Mullins High School and would have graduated this week with the Class of 2024. She enjoyed being with her friends, riding around, and spending time outdoors. A typical teenager, she loved makeup and knew all about the best beauty products. Her smile could melt the hearts of those around her and her compassionate nature made it easy for her to love people, children, and animals.
Sandra's final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some way. Her loved ones have ensured her legacy will live on through her organ and tissue donation, and through that generous decision, Sandra will touch many lives and especially the eight people that are being given a second chance at life.
She was predeceased by her grandmother, Maria Palomo.
In addition to her parents, Sandra is survived by her siblings, Soraya, Suzan, and Andres Bran III, and her grandfather, Julian Parra.
A celebration of her life and love will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2024 in the chapel of Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
In keeping with Sandra's love for animals, the family suggests that memorials be made in her memory to the Marion County Animal Shelter, 123 Dog and Cat Court, Mullins, South Carolina 29574.
An online guestbook is available at www.mearesfh.com.
We are so grateful for the small moments, every memory, each smile. Rest in peace, sweetheart.
