Sue Causey Westmoreland, 69, of Mullins passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at McLeod Hospice House. She was born in Richland County on April 15, 1952, the daughter of the late Elbert Monroe Causey and Gwendolyn Huggins Campbell.

Sue was a loving mother and grandmother. A free spirit, she was independent and above all, she was a survivor. She enjoyed the outdoors, and especially loved working with flowers and being around water. While around the water, she liked to sun and fish.

Sue was predeceased by her father, Elbert Monroe Causey, and a brother, Harold Causey.

She is survived by her mother, Gwendolyn Campbell of Nichols; a son, Richard K. Westmoreland, of Milledgeville, Georgia; two daughters, Denise Westmoreland of Gilbert and Lisa A. Huggins (Keith) of Lexington; a brother, Gene Causey of Columbia; a sister, Lois Causey of Hopkins; four grandchildren, Ashley, Devan, Michael, and Ivy, and her canine companion, Roscoe.
