Susan Raye Collins, 52, of Maineville, Ohio and formerly of Mullins, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Hospice of Cincinnati-Hamilton following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Marion, South Carolina on September 7, 1973, the daughter of the late Billy Ray Collins and Janice Sue Barnes Collins.

Susie's greatest joy in life, without a doubt, was her cherished daughter, Lasey. She always said that her daughter's birth changed her life for the better. She took great pride in watching Lasey grow into the person she is today. Every minute she shared with her was a gift she treasured above all else. One of their favorite things to do was shop, and Susie was always excited to find the best deals.

Susie graduated from Mullins High School in the Class of 1991. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who was admired for her strength and kindness. Her smile, her laugh, her hugs, and her beautiful blue eyes will be missed by everyone.

Susie is survived by her loving mother, Sue Collins; her much-loved daughter, Lasey; her sister and best friend, Kimberly Collins Brown and her husband, Don, and two nephews, Collin and Trevor.

At her request, there are no services planned.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Cincinnati and Hospice of Hamilton for the loving and skilled care given to Susie during her time there. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of Cincinnati-Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
